Frequency Focus Issue

Season 2 Episode 09  "Focus Issue" is up on the Youtube.com/kvworks1 channel.

This is the only episode that I was not capable of participating in during the production. I was recovering from a Bilateral Mastectomy and feeling pretty crappy. I had focus issues of my own.

DOWN
This episode reflects PK and my personal psyche at the time of production, March 8, 2013. Tonight, Piper mentioned that this episode's dialog is full of questions. S2E9 starts the part of the Frequency story arch where Deanna and Claire begin a shared journey. Real life back then, was mired in uncertainty and questions as we, Team Frequency - the wonderful cast and crew that helped on this episode- began what is know as a cancer journey.

Like Team Frequency, Claire & Deanna,  hopes for the best outcome but still doesn't understand what the battle is really about. Claire admits to having focus issues but Deanna is not buying it. I suppose the focus issue in real life at the time was, what to keep my eye on while in a battle to save my world.  I suspect the characters are playing out the metaphoric uncertainty of real life a the the time.
Piper is incredible and amazing and I wonder if she meant to write the metaphor of life in this episode or if it just happened. String theory has a way of making things connect that don't seem connected.

The cast and crew created this episode for me when I could not do it myself. Thank you.

UP
This is also an episode where Frequency got to work with other talented actors from the Triangle area here in North Carolina. Piper was very honored to write Frequency characters & scenes for Dana Marks, Laurie Wolf, Geraud Staton, Nathan Logan and Chris Burner. Their participation makes Frequency better. Thank you's go to out to our main cast as well as all the talent that has come on set and played with us.

I enjoyed watching the raw footage in the edit room. It was bitter sweet to know that my part comes a year after it was recorded. I am pleased with the outcome of this episode and hope you enjoy the ride during 80's trivia night at the Pinhook.

Frequency concentration

This Episode is entitled "Trying to Concentrate."

This episode is short but has some answers for Deanna.

I love this episode because Jackie finally has something in the fridge.

Frequency of season

The first season of Frequency was complete just as I finished up my chemotherapy.

I have spent the last four weeks catching up on RL stuff.

Thanks for watching and keeping up with this lesbian sci fi web series.

Finding new inspirations with writer friends

Shooting a short with other filmmakers

We have added 2 bad foreign translations for the episodes on YouTube - we will take friendly amendments to the translations.

I got some new body art for my #peterparker therapy.

Friendly reminder-

Since my last post readers should have conducted a self exam for prostates and/or breasts.

Looking back I have to say I loved my time on set during chemo- It was challenging and something's may have been compromised but it got done the best we could under the circumstances.

I loved the beach scenes, the special effects where fun and finding music was quite enjoyable.

We are really trying to make this an Indy effort.

We would love to hear from viewers. What did you like? What did you share with friends? What do you want to see more of?

Frequency slo mo

It is now obvious that the illness has slowed down our progress may more than I anticipated. I am half time at work with full time deadlines. This makes for poor excuse and very late deadlines.
BUT... We are making progress on the newest edits. Please be patient with our slow delivery. I am making an effort to put Frequency back on track. I am working my purple fingers right down to the numb. Please feel free to ask us about the plot, characters and cast. We would love to hear a shout, no matter how small from viewers. kvworks"at"me.com

Frequency on the front

I have been distracted with some other things and just now noticed that I have not update the page with the newest installment of Frequency.

I seems that went I posted the first part of Episode 3 on Blip we made an impression.

It might be the witty scenes and great acting  but I think it is the amount of skin in the thumbnail.

April 12-17 BLIP Drama page

Whenever I see this photo I giggle. I'm not sure why.  I am grateful for this actress' modesty; abilities to sell it with a look; and that we are on the cover page.

This episode is the start of the slide into true devilish plot  conflicts for Deanna and Claire. Travis is part of the master plan. Watch this episode and ask yourself.

"Do the clothes or the $ make the man?"

Frequency spring

The next few episodes in production are packed.

Coming up on the Frequency slate:

friendly dentist
angsty youth

I'm looking forward to the upcoming episodes. I hope you want to see more.

Frequency the Most Lesbian SciFi in the world

Frequency has been in production since April of 2012. We are putting together a fun lesbian character that has some friends that have tuned into special abilities.

Dr. Deanna Shelley is the lesbian dentist in the middle of some weird happenings. Join her as she sorts out which timeline and what reality she belongs in.

Claire DuMairier is the pansexual philanthropist looking to right some wrongs in the world. Her journey seems to be guided by a mysterious technology that has a special hold on her life.  Claire is trying to sort out her role in Deanna's reality.

Claire has been seen in the Pinhook throwing back a drink or two.

I'll let you in on a secret. It's comes in a tall blue bottle. It is some of Mexico's finest Tequila. Sipping is the preferred way to consume the beverage. Claire has other things in mind when she hits the Pinhook.

Micro Frequency

I thought, tonight I will try my micro blogger App.

I am thinking about Episode 03. It answers some questions left unanswered in all of "Just Friends." I lived shooting it and having the cast and crew get through some hit humid production days. I live the time shift ability of video!

I will leave you with this snippet.

Listing Frequency

The week started out by posting part 2 of "Just Friends."

Those of you who are looking for extra sauce with their helping of Frequency will note that parts 1,2, 3 & 4 are about being "Just Friends"

What will a friend do for you when you ask for assistance?
Sometimes a friend is just there because they know you need a friend.
Friends are willing to pitch in and help you find something you may have lost.
Whatever a friend needs. EP 02 theme is "Just Friends"

This week also brought a few new friends sharing the Frequency web series.

We posted our Youtube KVWORKS1 channel to  One More Lesbian  as well as Slebisode. (search  "frequency") These web series aggregating sites have been kind enough to post our project and share with their visitors.

KV Works welcomes the newest viewers and fans for Frequency.

Extra Frequency

This is has been a whirl wind of a month.
January has brought a few birthdays for cast and crew as well as as a few days in the edit room.

The edit sessions are furious. We have edit many pictures and some of the sound.
You will not believe how many sounds it takes to make a  bar sound like a bar.

The next episode is expected any day soon.
Keep us tuned in, we will be right back.

Rough Frequency

Ever have one of those days where nothing seems to go wrong.

Those are good days.

Silent Frequency

The farther along in the script we get the more layers we see unfold.

Today I got to read some of the up coming episodes. It was full of future/ past timeline elements.

It was very fun to read.

It maybe a tall order for VIZ effects and I'm up for the challenge.

All I can say is that I have to be silent about the details of the story.

I can say I laughed out loud. I can also say I cannot wait to get this in front of an audience.

As usual, you can see the first EPISODE of FREQUENCY at

 KVWORKS1 YOUTUBE Channel.

Double the Frequency

Phase reversing is not my intention.
I am trying to pull an optical illusion.

By the Magic of television we now have two where there where one, episodes that is.
We are not pitch shifting sound or shifting light we just split it the one into parts.

We will have EP 01.1 & EP 01.2
On OUR NEW Youtube Channel = KVWorks1

There are a few very small tweaked but nothing of major proportion.

We wanted the Youtube experience to fit the length of the short attention span audience.

SIPPING SCI FI?

I want to sip and savor my sci fi in large blocks.

But YouTube is a wild west of viewing and we want to keep from being a ghost town of a channel.
SOOOO, we cut the episode into two nearly equal parts.

Episode 02 is aging in the big barrel in the warehouse. We will serve no SCI FI before it's time.

ETA is two weeks.
We will drop Frequency EP 02 before the NEW YEAR.

COMING IN JANUARY

COMING IN 2013

Speaking of 2013, I have listed a few things I'm looking forward to seeing.
